The bure is set in beautiful gardens, however the interior is tired looking and needs renovating. It was peaceful and suited our needs for a one night stay for a family function in Coffs Harbour. There is a hole in the back of the bathroom door and the fittings in the bathroom were worn and not quite clean. I think it would be a great environment for families with children as the facilities in the resort are excellent.
The fact that the bures are let separately to the resort reception, was confusing at first, however the gentleman who met us and showed us where to go was very obliging and helpful.
We had dinner at the Shearwater Restaurant and it was excellent; friendly efficient service and superb food, beautifully presented. I would have liked to check out the nearby shops as they looked interesting, however we were in Coffs for a short visit only so no time to linger.
